About Rispaa
Rispaa is the alias of Dante Anthony Taj Barnes, a 24-year-old experimental EDM producer from Minnesota, USA. He started producing electronic music in 2017, drawn to ambient textures, breakbeats, and glitchy rhythms.
His sound blends elements of experimental electronic music with subtle classical influences, shaped by artists like feryquitous and Nhato. He also takes inspiration from the creativity and diversity of the Japanese doujin music scene.
In 2022, he released his debut EP Intermission , a collection of tracks that reflects his evolving approach to sound design and composition. His goal is to create music that feels expressive, immersive, and thoughtful.
